Frequently Asked Questions

Where and when is the event happening?

The event will take place at the LX Factory in Lisbon, on the 25th of September.

Why is there a ticket fee for HackAIcon?

The ticket fee for HackAIcon is crucial for covering the essential costs associated with running a high-quality event. This includes expenses such as venue rental, catering (food and beverages), necessary equipment (A/V, networking), security, speaker honorariums (where applicable), and event insurance.

Our goal is to provide the best possible experience for all participants, and the ticket fee helps us achieve that.

Are tickets refundable?

No, all ticket sales are final and non-refundable.

Can I transfer my ticket to another person?
Yes, tickets are transferable if you cannot attend the event. However, the new ticket holder must meet the same requirements and have a similar profile to the original attendee. This is to ensure that our events maintain a consistent and like-minded audience.

How do I transfer a ticket?
To initiate a transfer, please contact our support team at info@hackaicon.com
Provide the original ticket holder's information and the details of the new attendee. We'll then review the new profile to ensure it aligns with our event's audience.

What happens after the new attendee is approved?
Once the new attendee is approved, we'll reassign the ticket and send them a confirmation email with all the necessary details.
Can I participate as a Sponsor?

Yes — we’d love to have you on board!
We offer custom sponsorship packages, to request the sponsor kit, reach out to info@hackaicon.com

Are there any discounts or concessions available for the ticket fee?

We understand that cost can be a barrier for some. While our standard ticket fee is set to cover our operational costs, we may offer limited discounts, early-bird pricing and some competitions to win tickets.

Please check our registration page for current pricing tiers and any available concessions. We encourage you to register early to take advantage of any promotional offers.

Will the event be full of vendors?

No. There won't be any vendor stalls or any sales pitches masked as talks. We've attended plenty of those conferences, and we don't want that for this event. You'll see we have sponsors, but they're sponsoring by putting their logos on different materials and activities around the venue - that's all.

The only sales pitch you'll hear is during the few minutes we've allocated for a special announcement we have. But trust us - you'll want to hear what we have to say.

How much are flights and accommodation?

This will depend on where you're coming from. But you can count on around 50€ for a direct flight to Lisbon from European cities. From the U.S. East Coast, flights will be around $500 round-trip.

The average price for a hotel night in Lisbon is 126€, but we partner with Hotel Turim.

Stay Dates:  22-09-2025 to 28-09-2025
To access these values, simply visit the official website, choose the hotel and the desired dates of stay, and enter the code HAIC2025 in the “promotional code” field.
